Dr. Nuveed Loqman did his medical graduation from Dhaka Medical College, Dhaka, Bangladesh, the oldest medical school in Bangladesh. After graduation he worked in different hospitals and clinics in Bangladesh including Dhaka Medical College Hospital and Institute of Postgraduate Medicine & Research. Subsequently, he came to United States and did his residency in Internal Medicine at Newark Beth Israel Medical College, New Jersey. He was selected as Chief Resident of Medicine at St. John Episcopal Hospital - South Shore, New York. During his Chief Residency, he completed board certification in Internal Medicine from American Board of Internal Medicine. He did his fellowship in Pulmonary Medicine from Brookdale University Hospital & Medical Center, New York followed by fellowship in Multidisciplinary Critical Care Medicine from St John’s Mercy Medical Center & St Louis University Hospital, Missouri. He completed his fellowship in Interventional Pulmonology from University of Texas Health Science Center at Tyler, Texas.
Dr. Nuveed Loqman can speak in Bengali, Urdu & Hindi in addition to English. His interests are interventional pulmonology, COPD, Asthma, Sleep Disorders. He wishes to serve the community in the field of his specialty and sub-specialty.
NASREEN LOQMAN, MD
Dr. Nasreen Loqman graduated from Dhaka Medical College, Dhaka, Bangladesh, the prime medical school of Bangladesh. She worked in Nuclear Medicine at Dhaka Medical College Hospital after graduation. After coming to United States she did her residency in Internal Medicine from Mount Vernon Hospital, New York under New York Medical College. She did her fellowship in Geriatric Medicine from North Shore University Hospital, New York. This was followed by fellowship in Electroencephalography at Long Island Jewish Hospital, New York.
Dr. Nasreen Loqman is fluent in Bengali in addition to English and can understand Urdu & Hindi. Her subject of interest is women’s health. She desires to offer her services to the community in her specialty and sub-specialty, specially to the ladies and senior citizens.
